I grew up in Westlake, Ohio, and earned my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati, along with a Legal Studies certificate. I went on to study law at Cleveland State University College of Law. Between the classroom and the rink, I have spent the last several years learning how systems, rules and people actually interact.
